Invitation to bid
The Springerville Municipal Airport is only two minutes from historic downtown Springerville. Springerville is a quaint mountain town known as the Gateway to the White Mountains which developed around the logging industry. The downtown area offers a variety of stores and boutiques, along with dining establishments featuring some of the best food on the mountain.
Our summer visitors will enjoy hiking, camping, cycling, fishing and just about anything you can think of to do outdoors. The Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest is our playground with over 2 million acres of mountain country located in east-central Arizona.
Our winter activities include skiing at nearby Sunrise Park Ski Resort, ice fishing, hunting or visiting our nearby mountain resort towns of Greer, Alpine and Nutrioso, which hold festivals and events throughout the year.
Springerville Municipal Airport's premier terminal facility was completed in the spring of 2013. This facility includes a pilot lounge, flight planning room, conference facilities and an observation deck.
The Airport Layout Plan (ALP) provides for future growth and development. With over 550 acres of developable land for aviation and light industrial facilities, the land surrounding the airport can accommodate nearly any size of operation or type of light industry.
Planned improvements at Springerville Municipal Airport include an apron relocation and expansion, improved signage and lighting, perimeter wildlife fencing, and Snow Removal Equipment facilities.
There is also land available for private development of hangars and an airport restaurant.
Springerville Municipal Airport has a variety of properties available for lease. In addition, we have many acres of prime aviation and industrial land available for development. If you are looking for a new home for you business or to learn more about availability and lease information, please contact us.
