Alert : Spring Branch Cleanup Complete

The Town of Springerville does an annual spring branch clean-up as a courtesy to the public to promote cleaning up the residences and to clear fire fuels during the fire season in the spring and summer for one week when signed up. The town advertises branches only, maximum 4-inch diameter/6-foot lengths, one truck load per residence 6’x8’ and placed curbside. This year, we started picking up on May 12, 2025. We then had the Greer Fire that week, and did not get to all the piles of branches to pick up.  We have picked up all the branches that were signed up. Public Works continued picking up the branches placed curbside for three weeks plus. Today is the last day that we are picking up curbside branches. Please do not place branches curbside, as you will be responsible for them. We will continue the annual service next year.**note: The free trash day (dump day) is rescheduled for 6-21-2025 at Blue Hills Transfer Station. Please bring your water bill to show residency.**

Animal Control / Code Enforcement:

The Town of Springerville is accepting internal and external applications for a full-time animal control/code enforcement officer. This is a full-time, with benefits, 40-hour-a-week position working Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 

 Animal control reports directly to the Police Sergeant. Responsibilities include providing specialized enforcement work for the control and impounding of animals in accordance with laws and ordinances. Regulations and assignments and instructions are received from superiors. Work typically consists of maintaining the Town kennel and caring for the animals impounded, answering citizen complaints or requests for animal control, disposing of dead animals, patrolling the Round Valley community, and other related animal control work.

Code enforcement reports to the Planning and Zoning Director. Responsibilities include providing support to the Town’s local code enforcement program. Work typically includes inspection of properties that may be in violation of a variety of applicable ordinances, codes and regulations (These violations include, but are not limited to, nuisance housing, building codes, health and safety; graffiti; water waste and other matters of public concern.); reporting of findings of investigations (including photographs) to the Planning and Zoning Director; following up on complaints or concerns of citizens regarding compliance issues; re-inspecting properties that have received notices to correct violations to ensure compliance; providing information to property owners, residents, businesses, the general public and other Town departments and divisions.  The hourly range is $18.92 - $20.68 DOE.  This position is non-exempt under FLSA and will remain open until filled. Full job description


Part-time Airport Attendant

The Town of Springerville is accepting internal and external applications for a part-time airport attendant. Responsibilities include delivering personalized customer service experience to private and business aviation clientele while providing a variety of aircraft ground services. The hourly range is $18.55 - $20.27 DOE and will work no more than 28 hours a week with no promise that the employee will get hours every week.  This position is non-exempt under FLSA.
