My name is Steve West and I want to welcome you to the Town of Springerville Web site. I have been the Town Manager for 6 years. I am a 4th generation Arizonian and have worked for the town in many capacities. I believe Town government should be open and visible to the community we serve. The Town strives to assist where needed and will continue to do so. Our greatest asset is those we serve. Please let us know how we can improve our community.
The mission of the Town Clerk is to uphold the Constitutional Government and Laws of the Town of Springerville, record that which is true, and entrusted to the office. The Town Clerk maintains neutrality and impartiality, rendering equal service to all, while striving to constantly improve the administration of the affairs of the office, consistent with applicable laws.
The Town Clerk provides the communication between the Council and residents of the community.
TOWN CLERK VALENTINA CORDOVA
Valentina (known as Val in her community) is a second generation native of Springerville who started working for the town in 1987 as a clerk-typist working, utility billing clerk for 8 years and was appointed Town Clerk in 1996. Val achieved her Master Municipal Clerk certification through the International Institute of Municipal Clerk in June, 2009. She enjoys providing a necessary service to her community, through her office, and encourages residents to take an active part in their government. "Elections are the first and foremost right we have as citizens to affect government at all levels," Val has three children, nine grand children, and a great granddaughter.
During council elections, residents use the Udall-Johnson Confence Room to cast their votes. All future elections will be held in conjunction with Federal, State and County elections in the Fall every even numbered years. Please reference your sample ballot for the specific location.
Voter Registration forms can be picked up at the library, Post Office or Town Hall.
Springerville Primary Election - August 30, 2016
If you are not a registered Permanent Early Voter, call Apache County Recorder's Office at (800) 361-4402 or (928) 337-7516 to request an Early Ballot. The last day to request a ballot be mailed to you is August 15, 2014. The last day to vote in person is August 22, 2014 at the Recorder's Office in St. Johns.
There will NOT be an early voting site in Springerville due to the Consolidated Elections.

Flat Top Precinct - Life In Christ Fellowship Church - 11 S. Hamblin Street, Eagar
Round Valley Precinct - Round Valley High School Auditorium, 565 N. Butler Street, Eagar.
